Earn a Master's Degree in Education from Hampton University
After successful completion our Montessori teacher education program at VMTEC, students may apply to Hampton University’s Graduate School. Students will continue on the Montessori Education Track for an M.Ed. Four additional courses are required along with Thesis I and II. The required classes are as follows:
- Educational Innovations
- Technology and Educational Media
- Current Issues in Education
- Education Research Methods
Thesis I and II compose year long study and project.
The additional classes will be held at Hampton University’s, College of Virginia. This campus is located in Town Center in Virginia Beach, VA.
Students who are interested in seeking admission to Hampton University must follow all admissions procedures and timelines for graduate programs. Only teachers who hold a Virginia state teaching license are eligible for the M.Ed. track.
Upon request VMTEC will provide required documentation and transcripts to Hampton University.
